Day 1 : Arrival in Cairo :

Meet and assistance in CAI by our representative.

Day 2 : Giza Tour :

Breakfast.
Meet you tour guide in hotel, and start tour of :
1.Pyramids of Giza: The only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, vast and imposing Great Pyramid and its two companions are no less wondrous now than they were when they were built four and a half millennia ago.
2.Sphinx: Known in Arabic as Abu al-Hol (Father of Terror), Legends and superstitions abound about the Sphinx), and the mystery surrounding its long-forgotten purpose is almost as intriguing as its appearance.
3.Saqqara: One of the richest archaeological sites in Egypt, Saqqara was the royal burial ground for some of the earliest rulers and their courtiers. This is the site of Egypt's prototype pyramid, a stepped structure built for King Djoser. The necropolis remained in use for some 3,000 years throughout the Pharaonic era, with additions being made as late as the Graeco-Roman period.
Back to hotel and overnight.

 
Day 3 : Cairo - Bahariya Oasis (350 Km) :

Pick up from you location in Cairo (airport/ station / hotel).
Driver to Bahariya Oasis 350 kilometers (219 miles) ahead. Midway in the journey at 155 kilometers (97 miles) is a rest stop with a gas station and a cafeteria Twenty-two kilometers (14 miles) from the beginning of the road, the railway from Helwan joins the road and follows it all the way to reach Managim.(First Village of Bahariya oasis).Beyond Managim, the main road continues to Bawiti. At 316 kilometers (197 miles) the terrain changes once again as small conical hills begin to emerge.
Arrival in Bawiti, we check in hotel and relax. Then we start tour of main attractions of the Oasis.
First we go the see Museum of the Golden mummies where 10 of roman golden mummies in view selected from 10.000 intact roman burial chambers discovered in the 1990s.
Not far from the Museum, we head to slightly south of the spring of the same name are four 26th-dynasty chapels that together form the Temple of Ain al-Muftella.
Climb down to see the colored Tomb of Noble Bannitu with its fascinating decoration of Universal Day.
Then we visit small, two-chamber temple is the only place in Egypt where Alexander the Great's effigy and cartouche have been found.
We take the spring of cold water is used by both tourists and locals as a swimming hole. It is cool and refreshing on hot desert days.
Climbing the Black Mountain known as English Mountain. As on summit are the ruins of a World War I lookout post, which was manned by Captain Williams, after whom the mountain is sometimes called.
Visit Gebel el Dist Locals call it Magic Mountain because of the way the light plays on the texture and material of the mountain during the different hours of the day.
Back to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

 
Day 4 : Bahariya Oasis - Black Desert - Crystal Mountain- White Desert (140 Km with stops) :
Breakfast in hotel.
We leave Bahariya behind in our way to a different world of Black and White. We approach Sahara Suda, the Black Desert, a favorite safari destination. The ground to the right and left of the road is covered with black stones. We climb a 15 meter Sand Dune by 4WD and stop to take pictures of these mixtures of colors. Then we see Al Marsous volcanic Hill.
37 km we reach Al Hyaz small village that during the Roman era this area was very prosperous. Many of the current families were originally from Libya. We take our picnic lunch in a shaded place; also we will have the chance to get refreshment by swimming in one of the cold springs nearby.
We drive to the most famous of the formations is the Crystal Mountain, actually a large rock made entirely of quartz. It sits right beside the main road.
Bit by bit the yellow desert sands east of the road start to become pierced by chalky rock formations. s you get further into the 300-sq-km White Desert Protectorate, you'll notice that the surreal shapes start to take on familiar forms: chickens, ostriches, camels, hawks and other uncanny shapes abound. Two flat-topped mountains known as the Twin Peaks, a key navigation point for travelers. A favorite destination: the view from the top of the surrounding symmetrical hills, all shaped like giant anthills, is spectacular. Kids will delight in coming up with shape associations, and photographers will fill up their memory cards trying to capture the brilliant hues of the setting sun reflecting off the inselbergs' shiny surfaces. Waking up amongst them is one of the highlights of any camping trip into the desert

Day 5 : White Desert - Farafra Oasis (40 km) - Dakhla Oasis :
Breakfast in Camp.
Drive to Farafra the smallest, yet one of the most prepossessing, of the main Western Desert oases. We stop to see the Museum of local painter Badr Abdel Moghny.
Proceed to Dakhla oasis which was an important town in the Pharaonic and up through the Roman and Islamic periods, and each successive era has left it monuments.
Check in hotel .And Lunch in Local Restaurant.
Start tour of: Deir el Hagar sandstone temple to the Egyptian gods Amun, Mut, Khonsu, and Seth was actually built by the Roman Emperor Nero.
Then we visit medieval ottoman town of Al Qasr with its chambers, dwelling rooms. The tomb of Sheikh Nasr el Din, the Ayyubid mosque, the restored house of Abu Nafir, or the ancient olive press.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
 
Day 6 : Dakhla Oasis- Kharga Oasis :
Breakfast in hotel.
Today we drive to the largest town in the Western Desert. Formerly used as a place of exile and banishment for at least 2,000 years by the Romans.
Check in hotel .And Lunch in Local Restaurant.
We visit Al Bagawat cemetery Built during the exile of Nestorius to the oasis, considered one of the best-preserved Christian cemeteries from its era in the world. There are more than 260 domed mausoleums still standing, and several still have intact wall paintings.
Designed to resemble the architecture of nearby Bagawat, this two-storey Museum is housed in a cavernous, well-lit building made from local bricks. Inside is a small but interesting selection of archaeological finds from around Al-Kharga and Dakhla Oases.
Then we visit remains of Hibis and Nadura Temples from outside.
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
 
Day 7 : Kharga Oasis - Luxor :
Breakfast in hotel.
We reach the end of our adventure on the Western Desert Oasis, Today we drive to Luxor .
Overnight in hotel.
 
Day 8 : Luxor - (54 Km) Esna - (26 Km) Al Kab :
Our tour guide will meet you in hotel/station or airport in Luxor.
Transfer to Esna city (54 km south Luxor) it was before one of the most important stops of the camel Caravan between Sudan and Cairo. Enjoy the quite charming busy little farming town. Visit The Ptolemaic-Roman Temple of Khnum (Khnum was the ram - headed creator god who fashioned humankind on his potter's wheel using Nile clay.) with its unique Roman Hypostyle.
Transfer to Dahabiya. Welcome drink. Lunch on the banks of the Nile.
Start silent sailing to our next stop (Al Kab). Moor near Al Kab.
Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 9 : Al Kab (Nekhbet) - Fawaza Island -(54 Km) Edfu :

Breakfast on board. Stop to visit Al Kab (Ancient city of Nekhbet the Goddess Vulture of the city).
Visit: remains of the 12m-thick mud brick walls that surrounded the town are impressive and date back to the Late Period (747 - 332 BC) then we proceed to see an Old Kingdom cemetery. Across the road, past the ticket office and cut into the hill at the edge of the valley, are tombs of New Kingdom (1550 - 1069 BC) local governors. The most important is the Tomb of Ahmose.
Back to the boat and Slipping silently down the Nile and moves very slowly, so you have time to relax and enjoy the scenery of the small villages covered in green color.
We stop to take lunch on a small island on the heart of the Nile. Continue sailing to Edfu city. Moor near Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 10 : Edfu - (42 Km) Gebel EL Silisla - Maniha Island :

Breakfast on board. Leave the boat and take the horse drawn carriage to walk in Edfu city (modern center of Sugar and Pottery industries) to reach the most preserved temple of Egypt "Temple of Horus". It dominates The West Bank of the city and offer opportunity to enjoy a collection of prefect preserved reliefs of Ancient Egypt. The temple is actually a reconstruction of an older building on the same site, and was part of the Ptolemaic project to solidify their dynastic hold on Upper Egypt by identifying themselves with the Pharaohs. Not only is the design a copy of the old temple, so are the inscriptions on the walls.
Back to the boat Continue sailing to Gebel El Silisla. It was an important centre for the cult of the Nile: every year at the beginning of the inundation season sacrifices were made here to ensure the fertility of the land.
Visit the three shrines built by Merenptah, Ramses II and Seti I during the New Kingdom.
Back to the boat and set the sails to navigate to Mainha Island where we take dinner. Overnight on board.

Day 11 : Maiha Island - (65 Km) Kom Ombo - (8 Km) Darau :

Breakfast on board. This morning we enter the city of Kom Ombo where we tour the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek and Haeroris, Elder Horus god of the falcons. (Temple of Kom Ombo) that has an unusual symmetrically twinned architecture in which all rooms and doors are mirrored on the other side of the building. Once inside, you'll see that there are two sanctuaries in the middle of the temple, each a mirror image of the other.
Back to the boat and have lunch. Sailing to Darau small village.
Moor in Darau. Dinner and overnight on board.

 
Day 12 : Darau - Aswan :

Breakfast on board of the boat.
Visit the remarkable camel market of Darau (it takes places every Tuesday) and meet local people of the village.
In Aswan we start a tour of Temple of Phaile , the unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam
Transfer to sleeper train. Dinner and overnight on board.

 
Day 13 : Cairo :

Breakfast in hotel.
Today we will see the city of Cairo with its old version, we will visit :
1.Mosque of Sultan Hassan: essential mosque to visit is of Sultan Hassan. Begun in 1356, its size rivals the great cathedrals of Europe. It is entered through a soaring portal with a stalactite hood, which leads through to a simple but impressive courtyard with four massive arched recesses. The sultan himself lies at rest in his tomb chamber, to the right of the prayer niche. The neighboring mosque, Al-Rifai, although similar in scale to Sultan Hassan, was built over 500 years later.
2.Citadel of Salah el Din: Overlooking the city from a rocky spur of the Muqattam Hills, the Citadel is a sizeable fortress, which from its founding in the 12th century, served as the royal residence and barracks until the late 19th century. Its earliest parts date back to the reign of the ruler Salah ad-Din (Saladin), but over the course of its history it was reorganized and enlarged on numerous occasions. There are three mosques to visit, as well as former palace buildings and museums.
3.Egyptian Museum Right at the heart of the modern city, on Midan Tahrir is the country's main museum. It's one of the top museums in the world, thanks to an unequalled collection of artifacts from ancient Egypt, ranging from small pieces of delicate jewellery to towering colossi of the pharaohs and the Tutankhamun Galleries.
